Tanner N. Olvitt
Tanner N. Olvitt is a Licensed Agent at the Schoolcraft location of Trust Shield Insurance Group. He joined the agency in March 2015.
At the Office
A graduate of Grand Valley State University, Tanner double majored in economics and international business. He has worked in the insurance industry since 2015.
In addition to serving as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), his job responsibilities include assisting current clients and prospecting for new contacts. On a given day he can be found calling underwriters, working with clients to facilitate a claim or make policy changes, and connecting with leads in person or by phone.
Tanner enjoys working within specialty insurance markets he works in, such as greenhouses, and the opportunity to educate clients on their insurance risks and needs.
Working at Trust Shield allows Tanner to work alongside his father Tom, brother Dan, sister-in-law Natalee, and uncle Jeff.
At Home
A Vicksburg native, Tanner now lives in Grand Rapids with his wife Kendra. He enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, hunting, fishing, golfing, and building computers
Tanner has an identical twin brother Kurt who lives in Seattle, Wash.
