Daniel J. Olvitt
Daniel J. Olvitt is a Licensed Agent at the Vicksburg location of Trust Shield Insurance Group. Often referred to as Dan, he joined the agency in September 2008.
At the Office
A graduate of Western Michigan University, Dan has done pretty much everything at the agency – from cleaning and painting to answering phones, filing, and filling in when help was needed at other Trust Shield locations.
Dan’s typical day includes prospecting for new clients and assisting current clients with their insurance needs. He enjoys educating and helping clients understand their policies and making sure his clients have assistance in their times of need.
Working at Trust Shield allows Dan to work alongside his father Tom, brother Tanner, and uncle Jeff.
At Home
Originally from Vicksburg, Dan now lives in Texas Corners with his wife Natalee and their French bulldog Bowser. He enjoys kayaking, hunting, and tinkering with his GTI.
He previously operated and maintained the 6,000-gallon saltwater reef tank at The Radisson in downtown Kalamazoo. It was one of the largest privately-owned reef tanks in the nation.
