Scott Kuiper
A Kalamazoo guy from birth, Scott Kuiper a Licensed Agent for Trust Shield Insurance Group. Primarily working out of the Schoolcraft office, he joined the agency in March 2007.
At the Office
Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University and has more than 20 years in the insurance industry. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a Certified Workers Compensation Counselor (CWCC).
His role at the agency includes working to obtain new clients and retaining existing clients. He offers commercial and personal insurance consulting, evaluates insurance coverage, and provides risk assessment services.
Establishing long-term relationships and consulting with current clients on insurance topics is Scott’s favorite part of his job.
At Home
Scott’s hobbies include golfing, hunting, and fishing. He’s especially fond of walleye, but hates Brussel sprouts. He also serves as vice chair at Haven Church.
He is very proud of his two grown daughters. One daughter lives and works in Atlanta, Ga., after earning a master’s degree in public health from the University of Michigan. His other daughter returned to Kalamazoo to work as a Registered Nurse after earning a bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University.
